I’m Morgan, the artist behind Morggstakeover. I was born and raised in a small town outside of Chicago, spent my late teens and early adult years in Fresno, California where I became licensed and began my career, and eventually made my way to Oregon after meeting my husband — a military man who brought me back closer to home. Today, I serve Salem, Oregon and the surrounding areas for guests who are willing to travel for thoughtful, high-quality hair.
I’m a mom to two wild boys, one incredible bonus daughter, and we’re excitedly expecting our baby girl in February 2026. My life revolves around my family, my work, and the balance between the two — and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I understand firsthand how hard it can be to carve out a few hours of true “you” time, and if you’re investing your time and money into it, it should feel genuinely worth it.
I’ve been a stylist for over eight years. I began my career as an assistant — first in Fresno, then again in Oregon — learning under two incredibly talented salon owners. After nearly two years assisting, I transitioned into independent work, and my business grew quickly. Within a year, I brought on my own assistant and discovered a deep passion for education and mentorship.
At just 23, I opened my own salon. I poured everything into that space for almost three years before realizing something important: I value quality far more than quantity. I didn’t need to have everything to feel fulfilled. That realization led me to close my storefront and return to what I loved most — serving my clients at the highest level and mentoring long-term assistants.
Today, I dedicate my Thursdays through Saturdays to delivering elevated blonding, healthy IBE extension work, and lifestyle haircuts in a high-performing, organized environment. With two assistants supporting each appointment, we work efficiently without rushing — allowing me to focus deeply on detail-driven blonding, seamless installs, and prioritizing scalp health for my extension guests.

I’m working toward specializing in blonding and extensions, and I love creating bright, dimensional blonde that feels effortless and elevated. Hair health is always a priority for me, and every service is customized so your hair fits you — your lifestyle, your vibe, and your goals.

Fun fact: you’ll often catch me sipping my go-to Dutch order — a medium hand-blended Rebel with strawberry, pineapple, coconut, and lime (it’s a long order, but worth it). When I’m not in the salon, I love spending time near the ocean, hunting for rocks and shells, and soaking up nature.
